0HP- This is a departure from how the PHB handles being reduced to 0HP:
When a PC drops to 0HP s/he does not fall unconscious. Instead:
-S/he becomes Prone.
-S/he drops whatever s/he’s carrying.
-Her/His land speed becomes 10 feet, and s/he loses any other forms of movement (climb, fly, swim etc).
-s/he cannot make Reactions, Bonus Actions, or the Attack, Cast a Spell, Dodge, Ready, or Search actions.
-s/he cannot otherwise use magic, change forms, or use supernatural abilities, unless.
-s/he can make the Dash, Disengage, Help, Hide, or Use an Object actions, but if s/he does so, s/he must make an immediate Death Saving Throw before the action is resolved.
-s/he can use her/his movement to crawl 5 feet or to Stand. The former carries no additional risk. The latter causes her/him to make an immediate Death Saving Throw.
-Death Saving throws work as outlined on PHB 197.
-Damage at 0HP works as outlined on PHB 197.
-EVERY failed Death Saving Throw adds a cumulative level of Exhaustion (see PHB 291)
